Device Repair Rules
Device Repair Rules
- 1. Warranty validity
When handing over a device for repair at the service center, the customer understands that any manufacturer’s warranty will no longer apply. - 2. Conditions for warranty repair
Warranty repair includes free technical inspection of the device and troubleshooting, with the duration specified on the warranty receipt. No warranty is provided for devices affected by moisture. - 3. Warranty limitations
The warranty does not cover mechanical and moisture-caused damage. - 4. SIM card and data
The company is not responsible for SIM cards or memory cards left in the device. During the repair, factory settings may be restored, so all data will be deleted. The company is not responsible for data security. The customer must take care of saving the data or, if desired, inform the company’s staff about it (this service may be chargeable). - 5. Device damage during repair
If the device is damaged during the repair, the service commits to purchasing an identical used device in a similar condition or compensating the market value. - 6. Repair time
The device is repaired as quickly as possible. If the required parts are temporarily not available from the supplier, the service will contact the customer and inform them about extending the repair time. - 7. Ownership and accuracy of data
By their signature, the customer confirms that the device is their property, and that the provided personal data (first name, last name, phone number) are accurate and may be used to inform the customer about the repair progress. - 8. Approval of repair price
Repair work with a value not exceeding 40 euros may be carried out without coordinating with the customer. If the price exceeds 40 euros but was not agreed in advance, the service contacts the customer to confirm the price. - 9. Collection of the device
Once the device has been repaired, the customer is informed that it can be collected. When collecting the device, it is necessary to pay the service fee. If, for certain reasons, the customer does not collect the device within 60 days, the service stores it free of charge only during this period, after which the device may be disposed of. - 10. Acceptance receipt
When collecting the device, it is necessary to present the acceptance receipt. If the receipt is lost, the service may return the device only to the person specified in the receipt, by presenting an identity document confirming their identity. - 11. Inspection of defects after repair
When picking up the device, the customer must check whether all registered malfunctions were fixed and ensure that no new defects have appeared. Claims regarding quality must be submitted on site. If there are no claims, the customer confirms this by signing on the delivery/hand-off sheet. - 12. Replacement phone
If the customer was provided with a replacement phone, they must return it when collecting the repaired device. If the replacement phone is damaged, the customer must reimburse the repair costs or cover the purchase costs of a phone of an equivalent model and condition. Information about the replacement phone is indicated in the repair work acceptance document. The replacement phone is provided for a period of no longer than 30 calendar days. - 13. Shipping the device for repair
The sender is responsible for safely packing the device before sending it for repair. - 14. Return of the device
The repaired device is sent back to the customer only after the invoice has been paid. - 15. Shipping costs
Sending devices via “Omniva” parcel lockers is free of charge. If the customer decides to refuse the repair, they must cover the shipping costs.
